Comment checking

When visitors leave comments, we collect data from the comments form, visitors’ IP addresses, and browser user agent strings to aid spam detection. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to Gravatar to see if you are using it. Gravatar service privacy policy available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After comment approval, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media, cookies, log-in

If you upload images to the website, avoid images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors can download and extract any location data from images on the website. If commenting, you may opt in to save your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience so you do not have to fill in details again when you leave a re-comment. These cookies last for one year. If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies.
