Why It Works and
How To Enjoy Your Favorite Spirits
Studying human olfactory physiology and applying physics and chemistry sciences, we unlocked the hidden dimensions of distilled spirits with a spirits nosing glass that enhances drinking pleasure, enjoyment, and diagnostics.
Naturally Engineered Aroma Technology (NEAT) is the foundation for the best spirits glass available. Flavor is 90% aroma, and every spirits glass should display all aromas and enhance flavor.
NEAT spirits glass was tested against tulip whiskey glass, Glencairn, and other spirits glasses under controlled, uniform conditions by University of Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) Chemistry Department to verify results. Independent sensory studies verified our years of research. Other whiskey nosing glasses and spirits glasses can’t compare to NEAT aromas and flavor. Science built a better glass.
How to Best Use your NEAT Glass
Step 1
Pour to max bowl diameter (1 1/2 oz), swirl, hold level, and smell at center of the rim plane for characteristic aromas without alcohol burn.
Step 2
Breathe in slowly with mouth closed, evaluate. NEAT spirits glass presents character aromas without nose-numbing alcohol.
Step 3
Position nose at rim edge to detect diffused alcohol and other high-end distillates. Caution, placing nose deep inside glass delivers high ethanol similar to tulip glasses. Don’t do it unless you are in love with strong alcohol nose burn.
Note:
Adding water shuts down evaporation and results in much less aroma to savor. Pungent alcohol is why tasters add water to tulip glasses. Tulip whiskey glasses fail to focus aromas and instead, concentrate nose-numbing ethanol, destroying your sense of smell and masking key aromas.
The Best Whisky and Spirits Glass
After nine years, fifty-two design revisions, hundreds of tastings and aroma profile studies we learned enough to release the perfect spirits glass – NEAT, to serious spirits drinkers. The tulip glass is now “old school” obsolete and proven to be non-functional as serious drinkers depend on the NEAT spirits glass to understand true spirit character and quality and make buying decisions.
